Florida Man Challenges Me to Build a Massive Winch
This might be one of the coolest things I've built. Hank from Hamiltonville Farm needed a beefy recovery winch for a skid steer. We can do that!

This 2005 Silverado 2500 HD with a LLY Duramax diesel has been throwing codes for the turbocharger. It's very intermittent. I suspect it's a mechanical problem with the turbo itself. Check out Area Diesel Service here: areadieselservice.com

My Forklift Has Weird Cylinders, They Also Leak
Переглядів 188 тис.2 місяці тому
Resealing the main lift cylinders on my Clark GCX forklift. It's not as straightforward as I hoped. These are the picks I used: amzn.to/49zKhzb The shafts will bend if you get too crazy with them, but they easily bend back. Overall they work pretty well. Honda DIY Gone Wrong - Misfire on EVERY Cylinder! - Bizarre Diagnosis

I've seen some weird stuff, but this might just take the cake. 2009 Honda Accord barely runs with misfire codes on every cylinder. Sorry, my editing software stripped out some subtitles for reasons that are still unknown. This is the Launch tool I have: amzn.to/471Asbs There are newer models out now but they all use the same software. This is the borescope I use: amzn.to/48g9AVS

Ford E-350 Vacation Ruiner - Emergency Repairs
Wes, With the KV involved. Loose plug , The Plug was simply using the cylinder head as a Ground. Two turns up into the Head would accomplish that. Good Fix! I would of gone there first. I'm from Iowa. Not the Peoples Republic of Illinois. lol.
your wire feed problem maybe you need a new liner for you gun. My opinion get a Radnor gun, its better than the miller (and lincoln) consumables are less expensive than the miller and lincoln brands. <I guess I should watch the whole video before I make my comment. It looked awesome.>
It doesn't have to be perfect, as long as it is a 100% straight..... lol
Of all sad words of tongue or pen, the saddest are these…my mother-in-law rescued me.
How much does this repair cost?
My buddy has a 2001 that just got injectors. He asked me if I wanted to do that job and I declined. We know a guy like Wes that is an excellent mechanic that has worked on plenty of these trucks. The Duramax is a great motor, but they definitely shoehorned this motor in there. I'm no professional mechanic and some jobs are just better left to the pros with better equipped shops and more knowledge. Another great video though Wes. I appreciate you taking the time to film this stuff, as the info is valuable.
Torque stick! Then use the wrench after the drive test
I see he stopped by C&C Equipment to show it off 😎😎
Love that tarp covering device? I was asking myself throughout, when he is he going to cover the load?
So you're the one putting loctite on all of the bolts. Let's get him boys 👿👊🏾🥊🥊
Im on my 5th one - Im going electric with a bigger radiator
😎
Locktite on a seal? Really? Feel sorry for the next person that needs to remove it. Anyways I have been using my Cub Cadet since 2006and now its 2024. I do not see it as junk like you kept complaining about. I replaced the started is all. Still using the same belt although it came loose 2 times in all those years was all. I did replace the battery also. One time for sure but maybe 2 times. Will be due again soon. You were still complaining even doing the carburetor so had to leave.
I watched Hanks video, now I'm here... great build from both directions, i really enjoyed bot approachesx to the end result! so how do you feel about vanguard V-Twins?
Wes you have the best automotive channel on you tube. Thank you
we want part 3 !!! ... oldtony
Just found this episode (May 2024) and have been subscribed for 8 months but VERY glad to learn more about your background. You are a marvelous problem solver and explain your work very clearly. Continued success. Thanks!
I’m told the plastic section on the slide pin is to prevent the calliper locking up when very hot, it allows the bracket to expand enough to stay free. There is only one, because that is all you need to allow for expansion, two would increase the slop in the assembly and lead to squeal or soft pedal.
I have a welder that feeds wire just fine & my welds don't look half as good! Seriously impressive 'small' project Wes - truly a man of many skills
It;s not sketchy if it works.
26:24 , you two do intend to put Zerk fittings on that barrel pivot .? CAD CARTOONS are outstanding.. 32:15, Ahhh, there it is...
Wes...everyone loves to watch your videos, so, even though this could be a loser, the vdeos could more than off set the lose
C.H.T. the alligator unsubsidized me! The witches! Good job 2all Bsafe 🥶 🐲
5:00, wow, look at that wide open space you call a parking lot..... Wes, you've been busy off camera... 5:14
Im getting Killdozer vibes here and Im all for it. HaHa
Problem with the wire feed on that welder is the color of the welder. Should be red instead of blue
I'm a little curious, why did no fuel come out of the fuel filter when you disconnected the line?
What type of winch was that
Prowinch.
I know eyeballs are important and all but one other expensive thing you might want to be careful of when welding is the camera. Welding can damage camera sensors like eyeballs.
I've recorded a lot of welding footage and not seen issues with the sensor. I do have spatter issues though, so I always use a protective filter.
@@WatchWesWork ok. Great. I damaged one camera that way (not welding but playing around with electrical arcs so similar).
My place is worse
Not watched for a while, letting you rest, back again now. One comment only, that dog is getting fat !. Too many mice ?.
He's getting old. Almost 10.
That thing is awesome, nice build guys!
Definitely needs some sort of cab shield for when that cable comes flying back at Mach eleventeen.
Well we know where your true passion lies and it's creating and building things. Beautiful work Wes!!! Time for you to switch to flux core wire when you weld !! Looking forward to the next project.
That's a hell of a job. Good lord man, I'm glad to be watching you do it and not watching me do it! 🤣
That’s a valuable lesson for everyone trying to fix an automatic. Still don’t understand why it took off park means neutral? Nearly all ours are manual.
Great job! Like rebuilding the engine.
wes you are the best! now i do understand why, you are not wasting you time fixing GMs junky cars. keep teaching us, we do love your work but we love as well everything we learn from you!
‘There’s some gravity in it’ hahaha
Love them old girls SOUTH AUSTRALIA
Did you figure out how much of a counterweight that Bobcat will need to pick that attachment up and drive around?
Awesome project and great outcome... I like such videos but than I like most all your videos about making and building things... Thumbs
All those safety squints
Another machine you never knew you needed until you needed it and now you're glad you have it.
Great job Wes! You Tube dropped my subscription to your channel so I had to resubscribe. 👍👍👏🏼👏🏼
There’s a reason why itinternational went out of business
That’s too bad that you have over look that You will definitely double check your work before closing up any pan or cover All good
Looks like they are trying to make money with a piece of junk
G'day mate awesome 👍🇦🇺
All I can see is that poor old SV650 sittin forgotten :(
